What sort of volunteering projects can I do?
The following are just an example of the sort of projects you could be involved in. It is not a complete list so please come and talk to us about what would interest you.
Garden development project– we are developing ‘historical’ gardens in keeping with Sheffield Manor Lodge’s past within the ruins of Sheffield Manor Lodge Scheduled Ancient Monument. Tasks will include helping with the design of the gardens, their construction, planting and ongoing maintenance. There is a lot to do and you will be kept busy whilst having the chance to learn more about the site and gardening on a grand scale
Events and activities assistant– we have a full programme of events and activities at Sheffield Manor Lodge which need all hands on deck to ensure they run smoothly. Tasks include helping to set up and manage stalls, running children’s craft and games activities.
